Your Learning Section:

- A CPD module 'SMART steps and goal setting.' Ofsted like to see that we are reflective practitioners – looking to improve our settings and practice for the benefit of the children in our care and for ourselves. This means looking at what we have done, what went well and how it could be improved. This module takes you through some practical ways to do this using tools such as SMART targets and a SWOT analysis.
Objectives of this module:
- Learn what SMART targets are and how they are a useful tool to help you reflect on your practice.
- Learn what a SWOT analysis is and how you can use it to help set next steps for yourself.
- Learn about the benefits of mentoring and coaching.
Quick and easy learning segments covering:
- Inspection preparation: what would you do if your inspector asks you?
- Safeguarding - Safer Eating Requirements.
- SEND - What is physiotherapy.

Activities:
- 'Passports Crafts' -Children can make their own 'passport' learning about this important document while practising some creative and fine motor skills. With lots of printable resources to make your passports look fab!
- 'Pack my suitcase memory game' Just like the grown-ups children have to remember all the essential they need on holiday! This activity helps children with concentration, observation and memory skills.
- 'Going on an aeroplane role play.' One of the most exciting things about going on holiday is getting to ride on an aeroplane! Some children may never get to have this experience, but you can still have lots of fun pretending. This has been one of the most popular role play set ups I have ever provided children! This activity comes with printable resources including special seat numbers and boarding passes so that children can practise some maths skills while they play.
- 'Send a postcard..' With printable postcards.
All activities come with full instructions, including 'What I Want Children to Learn,' and 'I Can' statements' to help you plan and assess children's learning.
