Product details
Quick Description:
This new Development Record will help you record and celebrate children's progress and share it with their parents on a regular basis. It allows you to record more detail than a tracker, with space to record comments of notes under different development stages but is not as complicated or as time consuming as creating a learning journal.
This product is a digital download so you only need to buy one copy, then you can print out as many copies as you need, saving you money.
The Development Record is set out with sections for each of the Prime and Specific Areas of Learning as well as sections to record the child's Characteristics of Effective Learning.
There is an introduction and tips for the childminder and information about the record to share with parents to help encourage effective working in partnership.
This development record has information about children's development from Birth - 12 months old.

Each separate section contains a list of development stages, using information compiled from lots of different sources, written in more simplified language, and, where it is useful, broken down into smaller steps than you may find in other child development lists. There is space next to each statement to write quick notes if you want to and space to include your own 'targets' for the child if you want to.
Highlighted stages help you quickly identify areas which indicate a child may have a special educational need or disability and may need further support.
Using this resource will help you record the child's progress in an easy way, and will help you chose next steps for the child as well as assessing if their development is within the normal range or if they need extra support.
