This 'All About Me' Activity pack contains lots of fun and engaging activities aimed at children from one to five years old. The activities in this pack have been designed to help children think about who they are and how they are special. They are nice activities to complete when you have new children starting your setting, both for new and existing children. The activities in this pack are a good way of getting to know children in their own words and complement other resources such as ‘All About Me’ forms completed by parents.

Each activity comes with information about what the activity aims at helping children learn, full instructions and 'I Can' statements for you to assess each child's learning. 

The pack contains:

'Mirror, Mirror' Who is that in the mirror? An activity for the very youngest children in your care.

'Playdough Faces'. Look at faces and talk about the features and help strengthen little hands by playing with playdough.

'Mirror Painting' . Painting on mirrors is a fun way to practice mark making skills as well as encouraging children to look at features of their own face.

'Self Portraits'. Think about what you look like and build up a very special record.

Join making a 'Birthdays Display' with all the children in the setting.

Think about the special people in your family while making a 'Family Tree'.

Make a 'Mini Me doll'!'

Think about what you are good at and show pride in your accomplishments with a 'My Special Powers' superhero activity.

Think about favourite things with the 'Favourite Things Suitcase'

Use your fine motor skills while thinking about how you and other people look with an 'All About Me and You Playdough' activity.

Learn how we are all different and special because of those differences while making 'All About me Puppets.'
